Today the staffing numbers over 70 professionals of all disciplines.

Anbessawendm Mamo

Anbessawendm Mamo the managing director is an Architect, urban planner working for the last 27 years in different capacities in engineering and urban development sector, currently he is the managing director of Virtual Consulting PLC, engaged in the consultancy service for architectural, urban planning and engineering fields. As a professional and as a manger of his company Mr. Anbessawendm Mamo has been involved at higher level in policy study, institutional reform, project planning and implementation that have national and regional impact.

At national level he has been a program director for one of the biggest national reform and capacity building program the Engineering Capacity Building Program (ECBP) for the Federal Government of Ethiopia, the program was designed by Ethiopia and Germany governments to enhance the competitiveness of the Ethiopian economy in the selected sectors (Textile, construction, Metal, Pharmaceutical, leather and agro- processing) reforming legal framework, system and standards based on international best practices benchmarking that would impact the reform of educational system to produce a competitive workforce on universities technology institutes, technical and vocational education, establishing quality and standard systems and capacity building of the private sector. At regional level he has been the bureau head for urban development, with the responsibility of setting urban development regulation, directives and standards for shaping the urban centers of the region. As a manager of his own firm he has been coordinating, designing, supervising and implementing different scale of projects for Government, non-government and private sector, preparation of urban plan and urban design for different cities, mass housing projects, and preparation of detailed engineering designs and supervision for different building projects. His experience in Government, non-government and the private sectors, has exposed him to national and international standards and regulations which helped him to have holistic knowledge and skills in the field.
